UPS driver rescues dumped puppy in Stanislaus County
Amazing job by the driver. The only thing I am wondering is if he drive the puppy to the station like the article says. Wouldn't that get him fired?
What wouldnt get you fired from this place now a days lol. Do good, do bad, FIRED.
Having an unauthorized passenger on the car WILL get you fired; however, in this case, the driver obviously did the right thing and will be recognized for his actions by his mgt team.
Can a puppy be a passenger and not cargo?
He did the right thing. I would do the same. Kudos to the driver for having his moral compass on, and not worrying about repercussions.
I am thinking outrage from the animal community would get his job back, or else they will use him as a hero.
Anybody that would fire that guy deserves to be smacked across the face with a thick phone book.
Hope he didn't go over on his ORION miles. Can't have that!
But they could. All sups are not like you.
They should be. I'm pretty awesome..
Drivers are part of the community. This is how you gain trust... and building keys.
Yes you are.
You won't last long with that attitude.
I did the same thing in the past,..I would return dogs to their home.....I was aware of everything on my route...I knew what kind of cars they drove,..where they worked, and where their kids went to school....they took care of me, and I returned the favor
What's a phone book?
Anyone can be whatever they want to be on the Internet.
It's a joke Dave, lighten up
he was probably terminated for stealing time .
