Who the hell are you?? Are you a member of TDU?? Members are the ONLY people who need to know how much paff or levine makes. tell you what though...it is a helluva lot less than H2O. They are committed true believers who would probably work for the organization for free if they could.

Someone getting testy? I am a member. A member of the Teamsters. You know, the first word you use at the beginning of the name of you "group". So Paff and Lev can push, lobby and attack our Union on exposing salaries yet hide their own. Does Paff know Halls salary? Paff isn't a member. Not too fair is it?

All I'm saying is you have the right to trust and back who you want........but to say they aren't there for the money is laughable......they are CEOs of a business they are not elected officials.....that organization is a dictatorship paff and levin say you guys have to jump.....what does the d stand for in tdu.......a democracy has elections a dictatorship doesn't what does tdu have?
But you acknowledge you are NOT a member of TDU. Then why the interest in their salaries?? Don't like it , don't join it. Simple.
And yes we can lobby and criticize our Intl as much as we wish to. Paff and Levine work FOR us. We authorize them to organize and lobby FOR us. If you came to the conventions, you would find out for yourself what every staff member's salary was. Until then get over it. As for Hoffa or hall salary, they also work for us and we do have the right to expose their salaries ESPECIALLY when they never deliver for us at contract time!!
Again, we the Teamsters members of TDU elect a Steering Committee (get it ELECTS) which then decides to HIRE organizers like Paff and Levine. We the Teamster members have full time jobs so we hire people to lobby, raise money, write articles, etc.
"Work for free"?? Would you?? As for "ponzi scheme", please this is a shoe string organization. No one getting rich here.

Their "dues" aren't mandated. They may be a "parasite" but the blood is donated.
This last CBA hacked alot of folks off. Unfortunately, the vast majority of folks that could have buried it didn't vote and it affected their issues the most imo.
We have it better than most in our field (minus the microscopic harassment) but trust is the issue internally. That's how many members feel.
We're just pawns.
The difference being that any non Teamster can look up what the salaries are of representatives are. But, Paff and company goes to great lengths to protect theirs. Even going so far as to fight their books in court. Very secretive don't you think? Who audits TDU's books? Lmfao

Its not that Paff needs to know how much The Marble Palace Dweller makes. Its that us Teamster members want to know . Once again, Paff works FOR us. His "agenda" is our "agenda": expose corruption and/or incompetence, inform and educate the rank and file, push for progressive reforms to make our union more democratic and effective.
And to answer brother 10 Points' question: NO, the union has been heading in the wrong direction for some time. After 16 yrs of failure, it's time for new leadership with some new ideas from local leaders who have been successful in their own locals who have taken on the company and are not in bed with them.
