I took the second. But, I do feel as though IF we were to strike, it wouldn’t be August 1st. They will be “continuing to make progress and bargaining in good faith”. But all in all, smart move to set your vacation up in line with the potential threat of a strike.

You know the company will be recording everything that goes on. They might find a way to cut you off of comp.

That's a easy fix. Just call every day and say. "My (injury) hurts to much for me to come in today. I'll see how I feel tomorrow."

If there is a stike I bet the president is on workers side. He is not a globalist republican he is for the people. Ups lobbyists are probably behind closed doors are asking where he stands I bet not for the company. Is ups still the 2nd largest full-time employer. Behind China mart.

I went ahead and got a second job so that should we go on strike I can pick up extra hours there to make up for the lost pay and so I won't have to dip into my savings. Should we not go on strike I'll have an extra bit of spending money.
