How much is in your personal strike fund?

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
I come from a UAW family and know to put money back in a contract year.I doubt we will strike, but right now I have $8,000 on hand and by August 1 i expect to have $10,000 in cash.
I'm right at the top of the seniority list and no one can ever figure out why i never take days off or call in. Gotta be prepared!
The wife is my strike fund. Lol

I'm in the same boat as some.

I've got 7700 in strike fund, and am putting 100 or more in a week.

My supervisor was asking if I wanted a layoff today and I said I couldn't afford it. He asked if I would be able to take time off if we struck.

I told him the potential strike is why I cant afford it.

I just graduated college and I'm looking for full time jobs primarily out of state. Doesn't really make sense to lock into a year lease when I'm likely moving within a month or two.
Damn son, easy with facts, you gunna blow some minds with your planning and all.
