The part about overriding any addendum, rider, or supplement appears to be the worst. We were fortunate to avoid the 70-hour rule in my local last peak.

The Teamsters are proposing things UPS doesn't want.
UPS proposes things the Teamsters will never put in front of the members.

It will end up being small changes as usual, with a higher than expected monetary incentive to sign.
Just my thought with all this saber rattling between both sides.
Changes in work conditions may get them their votes.

Just my opinion.

It becomes their incentive to not properly staff people for the busiest time of the year.

I agree, it's not safe. I worked one extra day Xmas week. Clocked in a little over 67 hours. Just a wee bit too much
