What probably happened is that someone complained about not getting a day off when they wanted one. A manager shrugged and said, "Fine, if this is not going to work, then everyone works and we lay off from the bottom up, just the way it says in the contract."

Happens in our center from time to time. Lasts a month or 2, then goes back to normal.

The fact that there are employees that don’t understand seniority and how it works is insane.

The right to work is prioritized by seniority and days off are offered top to bottom.

Layoffs are completely different then an RTO.
