One night in feeders with white out conditions and 10 degrees with windshield that won’t clear and the blades are frozen while coming down a hill watching the back trailer sliding toward you and you can’t touch the brakes... normal boston conditions,,, = 10 yrs in package !

Sounds about right.

AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE
Yesterday.....dispatched with 220 and a 2 hour pickup route. 13 hr plan. Left building at 1030. OC comes up and says “can you get it done?” I said “if you take the pickups off of me no problem.”
“Ok, that’s what we’ll do.”
3 o’clock rolls around, pickups still on my board. So my helper and I go do them. Immediately had to drive to nearest UPS store to get rid of air and ob, which is another 1/2 hour out of the way.
OC calls me at 600 pm when I still have 120+ left.....”what’s going on out there? I thought you said you could finish?”
I laughed so hard and clearly pissed him off. They sent a seasonal to take 50 easy ones off of me so my helper and I could grind out the rest of it.
Punched out at 9:50, 160 stops completed with 110 miles. 36 hours in 3 days. Making it rain

Good job dumping the air and OB to ensure they made service.

Started at 9 took 15min lunch. So a little over lol. I have been steady with the work load for a few weeks now. Haven’t had a later day then 7 but that’s bc they wanted me to run a misload and that took 1.5hrs lmao
We are all get a lot of hours here. Won't be too many people left to run Saturday.

My job is fun

We have two centers in our building one is a crap ton of resi and then mine is more commercial. So I have 90+ business stops a day then about 40+ resi between 4 streets lol it’s not terrible. And we still don’t do Saturdays or at least they don’t force it

Brought back 580 pieces to the building exactly like many other people in my center. Not looking good!

Yeah 736 pieces + the stuff not delivered the previous day. Did the best I could but it wasn’t enough haha

That's crazy 700 pieces. I might hit 700 pieces in a week today was 109 136 pieces 76 miles. Only bad part is I had about 25 stops of my route rest was another loops work

That sounds manageable, i wish we had some days like those. The guy next to me had 836 pieces, and theres no commercial or decent bulk stops. He brought back more than me. The district is sending us helpers but it seems like we are screwed
