I think it is just too weird, As a second screening I would accept it, I really wouldnt want my 12 yr old going through it, on her monthly and everyone knowing it. As for me they would just see balls of steel where my balls would be if I had them. Clank clank. iT IS STUPID, WE KNOW WHO THEY ARE THE AGES THEY ARE, THE NAMES THEY HAVE. What else do we need to know to stop them. Profiling is fine with me and the only sensible screening to use. Not all muslims are terrorists, but all terrorist have been muslim, duh.
And then WATERBOARD them>

saw this on fox's americas most wanted show . Said apparently felt the chickens had come home to roost for his two daughters and killed them both. Feel free to blame the daughters for disobeying their fathers wishs.

Tie, as horrible a crime you felt the need to bring to our attention, there are many other violent domestic family crimes as graphic, only difference is the name of the victims is middle eastern.

Why has the UKs terror alert been raised and not the US terror alert? I guess the UK is being proactive instead or reactive.

Nahh...I just don't live in fear, maybe if you step away from Conservative talk radio and fox Cable news, and walk towards the light, you won't be so up-tight......

I wouldn't have anything to fear if you and other liberals would stop sucking up to the terrorists.

Did you hear the latest OSAMA tape today. It appears Obamas efforts to kiss world tucas is not helping him in the war on terrorism? How can this be? I thought Obama would be loved and admired by the terrorists? Did they not see him recieve the noble peace prize? I'm trying to understand your chicken come home to roost defense but its so confusing. Perhaps you could provide some more explanations with your next terrorist apology?

No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling.

Fake U.S. Marshal, Phony Prisoner Slip By Airport Security

by DefendUSx February 04, 2010 14:06 From Judicial Watch
A man impersonating a federal agent easily slipped past security at a major southern California airport, marking the latest of many embarrassing gaffes for the famously inept government agency charged with securing the nation’s transportation system.
The serious breach happened in San Diego and the scariest part is that the federal agency that got duped, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), didn’t learn about it until local police discovered it weeks later. The phony U.S. Marshal presented fake law enforcement documents to enter secure areas of the airport with a woman he claimed was a prisoner, according to the local news report that broke the story.
After escorting his bogus prisoner to the gate and boarding her on a flight, the man simply walked out of San Diego International Airport, which annually serves millions of passengers, and returned home. Shortly after, he was arrested by local police and charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and impersonating a peace officer.
The TSA was totally clueless about the breach until local law enforcement authorities notified it. Shocked agency officials claim they are investigating and “working with law enforcement and other departments to make sure this does not happen again.”
This sort of negligence seems to be par for the course at the scandal-plagued TSA, the 50,000-employee agency created after the 2001 terrorist attacks mainly to protect airlines. Although it has received hundreds of millions of dollars from Congress to fulfill its mission, the agency is best known for its mishaps and, in many cases, negligence.
Various Homeland Security Inspector General probes have determined that the TSA leaves airplanes vulnerable to terrorist attacks by failing to ensure the security of cargo packages and not adequately conducting background checks or training for agency workers who handle cargo. Dozens of other security failures have been documented over the years in other crucial areas nationwide, including TSA workers at three major airports missing hundreds of fake bombs during a covert exercise to determine if suspicious items could be smuggled into secure areas.
In the last few months alone, the TSA made headlines for giving security badges to a dozen illegal immigrants who had presented fake documents to work in sensitive areas of a busy U.S. airport and allowing a severely ill man with tuberculosis to board a 2,600-mile flight even though his name appeared on a Homeland Security “do-not-board” list.

Baba,

It's all just useless show now. The US Gov't already admits they let evil doers on the terrorist list actually fly into this country making sure they aren't stopped in the process. TSA and other anti-terrorist measures are about corraling the US citizens and have no reason, purpose or effect in preventing terrorist and in fact may actually aid terrorist per the US govt's desire to actually come and dwell among us. There never was a war on terror just a terror of gov't abuse!

On one of the news shows this morning, a Lt.Col. Ralph Peters, an interrogation expert, said the Obama administration is just plain stupid telling the public what this underwear bomber is saying. He said giving him his miranda rights was the first stupid thing and then disclosing what he's saying is the second stupid thing.

And you expect this administration to be smart ?
The majority of them have no real life work experiences.
They have spent their entire lives in their own little worlds, so common safe decisions are a foreign concept to them.

So did anyone else see Jon Stewart the other night with Newt Gingrich? There was Newt extolling the virtues of the millitary tribunals with respect to terror suspects. Stewart made the mistake of suggesting that Bush did the same thing in civilian courts with Richard Reid. Big difference, according to Newt. Reid was an American citizen. Later Stewart looked into the camera and referenced that point.... Something didn't seem right. Oh, yeah. Reid was British, not American. Newt Gingrich, professor of history? Really? Or just a right-wing mouth piece spouting talking points regardless of any basis in fact? Yeah, that sounds more like it.

I found the following article with comments from Judge Andrew Napolitano on military tribunals very interesting. Judge Napolitano's thoughts on military tribunals IMO are informative in light of his adherance to law and originalist constitutional construction. I'll concede the fact that pure originalist construction is in fact inconvenient with the current approach of dealing with the threat we call terrorism. Not only with tribunals but the apparatus of the surveil state which IMO both political parties follow. That said, it's also very easy to treat the constitution like a cafeteria line and just pick and choose at the moment what's convenient and pretend the other dishes don't even exist at all. Again, both political sides do this whether it's twisting the general welfare clause or providing for the common defense. IMO from an originalist POV, I don't think the founding fathers whether of the Jeffersonian or Hamiltonian schools envisioned the extremes we've taken this 2 constructs from the original constitution.

From a POV, if you don't trust your own system to uphold proper justice (yes proper justice goes both ways ultimately finding truth and dispensing justice accoding to said truth) then why should someone outside your system be willing to adopt all or even some of your system as their own means of organized society? If winning the hearts and minds of foreign interests is the goal, what better place to start than at home and then point to the good working example for them to look at. People like to hold and look at a product, even see it demonstrated before they buy and is societal governance any different?

To close, on a comedic if not a bit of truth POV, when I take an outside view and look at America with both Bush and Obama along with the actions of the resulting Congress in power, I can understand why so many foreign peoples want no part of how we do things.

With Robert Gibbs saying that KSM will be executed for his crimes before he has even been tried, can't his attorney ask that the case be dismissed because now the jury pool has been contaminated nationwide by Gibbs's remarks?
