No bit at least it gave us some language on it. They waited till after we passed the contract, then dropped that bomb on us.Yeah that strike sure solved the over 70's problem.

Neither is Sure post or PVDThey claimed it wasn't a bargaining issue.
We don't do that in our area thanks goodness, couldn't imagine.Casuals is what we call them. The temps we hire for peak. They all have that "deer in the headlights" look.
We don't do that in our area thanks goodness, couldn't imagine.
How do they put in extra routes at peak without the temps? We don't do that in our area thanks goodness, couldn't imagine.
Really? No peak seasonal help?We don't do that in our area thanks goodness, couldn't imagine.
It did for me. I have not and will not handle an over 70 without assistance. If no help is available the parcel doesn't get delivered.Yeah that strike sure solved the over 70's problem.
Some drivers just leave them behind for the air drivers to deliver. Along with the long driveways and nowhere to turn around. It did for me. I have not and will not handle an over 70 without assistance. If no help is available the parcel doesn't get delivered.
TCD.How do they put in extra routes at peak without the temps?
TCD?TCD.
Temporary Cover DriverTCD?
Temp? That's a casual. Same thing.Temporary Cover Driver
I'd much rather have seasonals than the terrible TCD languageTCD.
I do 100 stops in 10.5. Sometimes 11.Temp? That's a casual. Same thing.
Ours go out on a gravy route and do 100 stops in 10 hours! Lol
It's not great language but it could be worse.I'd much rather have seasonals than the terrible TCD language
So the casual driver would do 50 stops in the same time.I do 100 stops in 10.5. Sometimes 11.
Any part timer that wants to drive seasonal here gets the chance to.It's not great language but it could be worse.
I'm not sure screwing over current PT employees by hiring off the street is better than screwing over current PT employees with the TCD language. At least the people who put in their time get the chance to make some real money.
The language should be improved you're right about that though.
Temp? That's a casual. Same thing.
