"Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?" As I have stated there is no doubt that the Holy Spirit dwells in the Christian. What has not been answered , but asked, is HOW does he dwell in the Christian?
The passages stated show that God is not personally and literally in Jesus. Jesus is not in God personally and literally. The word of God is not literally and personally in you. You do not have a physical bible in you.
In the Romans 8 text, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are both in a person. Yet no one says that Jesus is in you personally but the Holy Spirit is.
I'm "in" my son. You can see me "in" him. He is"in" me.
Jesus said if you seen me, you seen the Father. They seen Jesus personally but not the Father. He was talking about who he was.
The word is in me because I represent what is written in it.
The Holy Spirit is in me the same way. When a Christian produces the fruits of the Spirit, (you can know what they are by reading what the Spirit wrote in the Bible) he is showing the world that the Spirit is in him.
God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Word (All of which have been stated is "in" the Christian) are all in me the SAME way. Representatively.
Proof just using No Integrity that the Holy Spirit is NOT in him is in his own statements. He doesn't believe all the Bible. It is not his only source of authority when it comes to religious matters, etc. The Holy Spirit does not contradict his written word.
This is nothing new.

This is pretty much the opinions and teachings of the Church of Christ denomination.

I don't see any different answer or useful answer for discussion coming from you.
You can stop.
Ok. As you wish.

I think you can’t accept that you don’t have all the answers.

Why can’t you accept that I don’t believe in the complete inerrancy and infallibility of religious tradition written or not . I love the Bible but God is my source not the Bible.

I believe that we should not believe or hold in authority over ourselves or others religious traditions, written or not, that don’t reconcile with the heart of God.

You wouldn't know about Christianity without the Bible. That you refuse to accept scriptural authority says to me you haven't submitted your will to God. Christianity isn't a buffet you get to pick and choose from.

Not at all. The Bible has all the answers.

I totally accept you don't believe.

Gotta side with @Integrity here. There are several verses that states the Spirit dwells in us. And how he does it, I don't know, but I try not to limit what God can and cannot do, and if I believe in the Bible, then I have to believe he does.

1 Corinthians 3:16 for one.
Can you find in the Bible where God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit was actually "in" someone?

This makes absolutely no sense. Are you saying the existence of God and believe in God is dependent on the Bible?
That you refuse to accept scriptural authority says to me you haven't submitted your will to God.
So are you saying submitting to written religious tradition is equivalent to submitting to God.

That’s how I am seeing this.

Christianity is about a person, not a book.

1 Corinthians 3:16
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Source: 16 Bible verses about Indwelling Of The Holy Spirit
I quoted that already and gave some explanation has to how the Holy Spirit dwells in our body which is a temple.

I believe the Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is in one the same way God, Jesus, and his word is in a Christian. There is no place in the Bible that the Holy Spirit is personally in anyone. I challenge you to find it for discussion.

IMO When a person or denomination speaks as if their understanding of a particular Biblical text is the one, true and correct one. It is a statement that is dripping with condescension.

You use the Bible to interpret itself.

It's all about context and not pulling out passages at random.

Point?
Is there any place that God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit was personally in someone? Get all the context you can from anywhere. Be glad to discuss it.
The Bible says all three are in us. Personally in us is not in the Bible.
There is no place in the Bible whether by specific or general authority that even leans toward any of the three are personally inside a person.
