nowhere special
Point?
Is there any place that God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit was personally in someone? Get all the context you can from anywhere. Be glad to discuss it.
The Bible says all three are in us. Personally in us is not in the Bible.
There is no place in the Bible whether by specific or general authority that even leans toward any of the three are personally inside a person.
Several verses specifically say the Spirit dwells within you. Examples are in the link I posted.

IMO When a person or denomination speaks as if their understanding of a particular Biblical text is the one, true and correct one. It is a statement that is dripping with condescension.

Again. The Holy Spirit dwells in the Christian.
I contend the Bible teaches it is dwelling like God, and Jesus who also dwell in us. Not a personal, literal indwelling.

The Baptists have for many many years fought bitterly over their ideology and when and where it's applied. I was attending a Baptist church when it got caught up in a big fight over ideology.
It involved a high ranking church man who left his wife and stole another man's wife away from him. Now the disciplines and by laws of the church stated that the two consenting adults could not longer hold membership. (is it any wonder?) And the preacher at the time did his job he stood on the long established rules. So what happened?

In light of the fact that the unfaithful man and woman consistently put big dollars in the collection plate the powers that be took the easy way out....They allowed the adulterous couple to keep their membership....and fired the preacher.

Oh it gets even better. There was this new upstart fast growing Baptist church across town. It was able to secure a bank loan to build this very impressive new Baptist church building on a hill overlooking town. So what happened? The preacher withdrew from the bank every cent of money the church had....and ran off with the church secretary. Bank foreclosed . No more church.

You think that's bad? In the neighboring town a break away Baptist group started their own church. Along comes this charismatic charming good looking preacher from the Midwest. Nobody knew anything about him but he could put butts in the pew and dollars in the plate and that's all that mattered.
Things were going GREAT until one day when the cops showed up. Some years back he was an assistant minister and head principal of a Baptist church/school where he came from. As the charges go he raped a 17 year old girl who was a student there some years back. She went to the board of directors who dismissed her charges saying that she was lying. Some years went by until the guy's past caught up with him. But, here's how he got out of it.

Under the laws of that state the statute of limitations in cases of rape of a minor never expires. However in cases of a legal age rape victim the timeline expires in 3 years. Unfortunately the prosecution could not firmly and conclusively establish that she was under age when he raped her. So they simply had to let the little snake go free.

Today as an unrestricted free agent sinner I have never been more at ease with my own mortality.

The Bible teaches the Holy Spirit dwells in me just like God and Jesus does. There is one Holy Spirit, just like one God and Jesus. God literally dwells in Heaven. Jesus is literally seated at the right hand of God
The Holy Spirit dwells in me via His word. He wrote it. In fact, that was his part of our salvation. God sent Jesus. Jesus died. The Holy Spirit penned the Bible.
I know when I am obedient to that word and disobedient to that word. I know what the fruits of the Spirit are by what he has written.
There is not a literal person of the Deity inside my physical body. The Bible does not teach this. There is not a voice from Deity telling me in a voice that I have done right or wrong or anything else. In fact, @Integrity has made comments that directly conflict Bible teaching. If the supernatural indwelling, (that means miraculous ) of the Holy Spirit is in him as he claims, then that would mean that God is a liar.
My conscience is not Deity nor is it infallible. But, it is and has been trained by the Holy Spirit via His word. That's how he is in me.

That’s some rough stuff.

No surprise.

Understood, it is not about God with you, it is about the Bible.

Do you agree with the SBC decision in the original post?
