Yes.
I think we're done here.He did if it wasn’t everything to you he’s not worth your time yet. Maybe it is now.
Feelings mutual. I’m good with being done.I think we're done here.
There can be no discussion about anything, really.
"In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes." - Judges 21:25
" There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is death." - Proverbs 14:12
I care.
Much more intelligent form of communication from you than normal. Thank you.
That’s you! Blah blah blah!
Thanks, no news here.![]()
Why the SBC Should Remove Saddleback
Over the weekend, a friend sent me a post from one of Saddleback Church’s social media accounts announcing that their new female teaching pastor would be delivering her first sermon on Sunday…www.dennyburk.com
Bow out in a blaze of glory. Please explain how the spirit prompted you this morning.
Words, feelings, or something else?
You credit the spirit, so how was it done?
How do you discern between the prompting of the spirit and your conscience?
Yes, there certainly is, gives you insight into it what SBC believes and why they’re doing it. It’s more about following rules than about SBC thinking they’re not Christian. Organizations have rules, church organizations base them on agreed doctrine and then a few churches decided to break the rules, instead of working to change those rules within the organization. I don’t attend a church that has quite so rigid a interpretation although I understand rules and I understand how disrespectful it is when you are in an organization and do not follow the rules and do whatever you want. After all this questioning, the bigger question should’ve been why didn’t Saddleback Church remove themselves? Thanks, no news here.
So what.I care.
I am familiar with the SBC, was before I posted this thread.Yes, there certainly is, gives you insight into it what SBC believes and why they’re doing it.
Agreed. It’s more about following rules than about SBC thinking they’re not Christian.
SBC was certainly in their rights to do that, as never question the right or the decision. I just exercise my right to disagree.Organizations have rules, church organizations base them on agreed doctrine and then a few churches decided to break the rules, instead of working to change those rules within the organization.
Can be difficult.I don’t attend a church that has quite so rigid a interpretation although I understand rules and I understand how disrespectful it is when you are in an organization and do not follow the rules and do whatever you want.
That would be a question for Saddleback Church leadership. After all this questioning, the bigger question should’ve been why didn’t Saddleback Church remove themselves?
So what.
Please stop! You’re hurting my feelings!![]()
i don’t think I will at this time. I’ll continue to ponder this. Please explain how the spirit prompted you this morning.
