What changes do you foresee in the next contract?

Maintaining jobs and support for the pension plans will be topic one. Because you can't have one without the other. Going from 9.5 list to 9 hours will help create and maintain jobs. The cost will be smaller raises based on Chained CPI calculations.

There is so many guys in my building that have a year or less part time that went full time during this contract. They will have barely four and a half years making almost 37 an hour. That kind of money will set up so many young families. Buy the car the house the pool the vacation that they want. It's a good opportunity.
What about the guys with nine or ten part time years in and, have to wait another four to make decent money? Step away from the kool aid. The reason it took ten years to go full time is because of concessions like sure post. All the contractual raises came from moving progression from three to four years. Record profits for the company and no new money in the contract. H2O GOTTA GO!!!!

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
Maybe uping the guarantee of 3 and a half to 4 or 4 and a half. Raises could be a little better and the contract length 4 years instead of five.

Perhaps he is saying that this is something we will no longer be negotiating directly with the company over, rather the union?
Yikes!!!
I think it is a contract issue regardless. Anything proposed by the locals is going to be talked about and voted on. Don't the part timers have their insurance with the company, oh wait they don't vote anyway, sorry.
