1 800 sick dayI'm fine buddy it's the traffic those poor bastards are going to deal with before and after the game.
We bid every year here, it's not that big a deal. There's always few people who switch but most of the senior drivers stay put.So how much do routes really get shuffled around?
Seems like the first couple weeks could be fun watching the numbers just plummet lol
I’m bidding on another route
Least that’s what I tell the rookies who are worried they’ll lose theirs.
Some places bid on actual routes, not some sort of freaky bid on a start time thingWhat is this bidding routes thing???
The new mantra is you don't bid a route. You bid a position in a loop. Some places bid on actual routes, not some sort of freaky bid on a start time thing
Lmao.... I love spreading rumors like that around bid timeI’m bidding on another route

Baseline. The new mantra is you don't bid a route. You bid a position in a loop.
Gives them a lot more flexibility in screwing up routes.
Baseline routes used to end up garbage splits but with pocket dispatch they can screw up any route.Baseline.
Here, the cba says the bid must depict the baseline on it.Baseline routes used to end up garbage splits but with pocket dispatch they can screw up any route.
They have taken a lot of my pickups off my route since my original bid ... thus more resi stops ....not pleasedBaseline routes used to end up garbage splits but with pocket dispatch they can screw up any route.
Yes but the point is the baseline route borders other loops and are where most adjustments start. By loop dispatch its a chain effect of moving stops between cars but that goes away when its ignored and they treat it as stops are stops (easier for PDS even though it violates loop dispatch rules). For instance the A route should be farthest from the baseline but that doesn't stop them from throwing anything they want on it to meet their stops per car metric. Here, the cba says the bid must depict the baseline on it.

So what's new. They're only as good as the pds. There you go.Yes but the point is the baseline route borders other loops and are where most adjustments start.
