Failed road test

Yeah i have been shown before, but i feel i need to drive something big just to get the feel of driving something big.

Honestly I don't think a rental helps. Different height, different turning radius and different view from the mirrors.

I agree but i can still apply the 5 and 10 methods when driving a rental

Also i have seen other guys on here failing twice or more. So please no discouraging comments i really want this job but idk what these guys are saying about me now, that i failed twice with a different supervisor AND hit the mirror

Just curious what did you hit the mirror on? It wasn’t like you bounced it off someone’s face in a crosswalk was it

I’ll give you something positive the guy at our building took a road test hopped the curb and drove down the sidewalk.

I was backing into a spot and hit the mirror on another truck

Immediately took control of vehicle.The supervisor was my favorite ever at ups. He came in White as a ghost and told me this MFer almost ing killed me lol. He said he drove down the ing sidewalk in front off a cvs pharmacy next to a mall. The guy tried again in a year and was rubbing the curb all the way down the street.Same supervisor he said of no and failed him a block away lolol.The guys still on preload great guy I always tell him try again but I think he’s had enough.He confirms he drove down the sidewalk

It does help get the feel of driving something bigger than a car but the angles are all different.

The crazy thing is you get one of those automatic with power steering I find it easier to drive then my car. My 700 was nicer then my car

Isn't the sup supposed to get out of the car when you back? Not sure if that applies to the road test.

That’s some ing bull.I was returning to building at peak some new guy drove close to a truck hit both mirrors and got out straighten them out and came in like nothing happened. I’m thinking they would of fired me twice one for each mirror

Do they let new guys park their own trucks now? For a while someone else had to park for them because they were tearing up so many trucks.

The second time I asked him did you not really make it to the end of our block and he said YES I couldn’t get the tire off the curb lolol.
