No I believe you are wrong.
This Chart Shows How The US Military Is Responsible For Almost All The Technology In Your iPhone

Nearly all of the technology in many of the world's most ubiquitous electronic devices can be traced to a single, taxpayer-funded source: the US Department of Defense.

As the chart below demonstrates, there's little in these devices that doesn't owe its existence to the US Department of Defense in some form or another.

Ok let's say that's all true. You're telling me that your cellphone and computer are not part of capitalism because the us government developed the stone age technology that helped make cell phones and computers? Sounds like you're looking for a excuse to be part of capitalism.

You started this with "do you like unions? Capitalism doesn't."

You rail against capitalism but freely feed into it at every turn. You then said my quote about video games, cell phones, computers and music was liked by capitalism was " optimistic"

So why ask me if I like unions? Just so you can try and turn me against capitalism when you are a friend of it?

in a truly socialist (or worker coop) economy you'd have a bunch of people sitting around doing nothing. You need the animal mother of capitalism, but it must be well restrained.

Strictly looking at the data, a system a little more progressive than the average in the US - maybe Canada or Germany, seem to yield the best overall societal numbers.

in a worker coop economy you'd have more work life balance, and more incentive for the workers to work harder.

not canada. germany has had good wage growth, and btw they have a more cooperative system with co determination
