theres other industries too....medicines, aerospace, i forget the others. i think an accurate description of the economy is state capitalist.
in a worker coop economy you'd have more work life balance, and more incentive for the workers to work harder.in a truly socialist (or worker coop) economy you'd have a bunch of people sitting around doing nothing. You need the animal mother of capitalism, but it must be well restrained.
Strictly looking at the data, a system a little more progressive than the average in the US - maybe Canada or Germany, seem to yield the best overall societal numbers.
