You think the average express driver is making $29/hr?

Depends on what part of the country you are in. If you’re 12 to 15 years in you are topped out. Top out ranges from $27.50 to about around $33 an hour plus benefits. I know the swings at my station who are topped out are over $32 an hour. We have a lot of senior employees at my station including me who are all topped out. We have a guy who is still a courier with a 4 digit employee number who started in Memphis in 1977.He kills it every day.

Whatever you say buddy. One of us runs a successful company and the other couldn’t hack it. Things have changed since day 1, you couldn’t keep up and suckered some fool to pay you while you sit on your rear forcing someone else to work.

Sorry to have exposed you and the con you've been running here. Trying to make the others believe that your TOTAL compensation package is in line with what the major carriers are paying their top quality performers.

The only thing you’ve exposed is your own ignorance. My compensation is not in line with UPS. It is very much in line with Express.

If you're sufficiently staffed without much turnover and the work is being done to your satisfaction, you're providing a fair market wage. Don't know why he can't grasp that.

My turnover could be lower. This is my first year with health insurance. We’ll see if it’s as big of a retention incentive as people think. I have my doubts, but it was a raise without the payroll tax liability. Time will tell.

But you're a GROUND contractor. Now look you are simply a tool being used by XG to hold down wages and benefits . If you had to pay the same rates and benefits as the OTHER ground carrier not only would you not make any money you would no longer be the useful tool you currently are to your one customer master.

He can have all of the on line, for profit college degree's he wants but he still can't MAKE me accept HIS interpretation of a historical text. You on the other appear to be a person who was taught the fear of Jesus early in life . It obviously made a deep and lasting impression in your psyche and that's what it's designed to do . it's all about mind and behavior control.

Because the customer is not asking for it and you’re offering a service Express does not offer. Packages go through the system to be delivered with the service and price that Express offers. You’re not paid for what you wanna do you’re paid for what the customer has asked Express to do.

Im at 10 years and only at step 4 of 10. This station has over 80 routes so it aint some Podunk even if we are at bottom of natl. scale

Doing so eliminated a potential RDL, eliminated the potential for it being missorted to the wrong route, reduced the potential for damage to the package, provided a positive impact on the SQI, and did so with virtually no marginal increase in labor hours.

Given the crass and indignant remarks you post here the one thing it doesn't teach you is humility which makes it quote clear that you don't attend church seeking salvation but rather to find some guy who will reaffirm your self righteousness. And in your sorry case you actually have to pay some guy to do it.

I’ve gotten flak for doing it because the package never went through a scanner to get weighed.
