They saw him. They crucified him. They went to the tomb and it was empty.

Your question is like asking how many home runs Tom Brady dunked last year.
Then how come there's no mention or historical record of what Jesus was up to between ages 14-30? Hey, maybe Jesus wasn't a Jew after all. He might have been Amish. They can go out whoring around all they like during those years of their life. Jesus rode a mule and the Amish do too.

It will be fine

Much of the point of FedEx partnering with big box stores is their ability to ship from the stores themselves vs shipping exclusively from their distribution centers. It allows Ground a greater ability to deliver next day.
Same day will be soon. Pickup from retail location around 13:00, drop off same day. Overnight service is old news now, gotta get ahead of the game.

Seeing the cluster friend ground was this peak , UPS will still be on top in 2-3 years. Fred is just trying to placate the investors. It reeks of desperation.

I can't imagine why no one takes you seriously.

It wouldn't be surprising. My last station as a courier I had a pickup route for a while. One of my pickups usually had a few packages for addresses along my route or between my route and the station. I'd usually deliver them same day when time permitted.

There are plenty of issues to work out with such a thing but it's nothing that can't be fixed, especially with Ground/resi deliveries.

When your stock has gone from 278 to today's 148 and is testing new lows, you'll turn 76 in August , your mandatory retirement extension is expiring and your little kingdom is falling down all around you a person in this position inclined to be in a rather testy mood and that's the one thing in his Bloomberg interview that stood out above everything else. And as surly and ill natured as the guy has shown himself to be I can only imagine what he's like to be around these days.

Not even MF ever described Fred as surly or ill natured. Did you munch on a bag of lead paint chips?

Hey this is really great to see that you and MF do indeed have something in common. Who would have imagined that the two of you are charter members of the Fat Freddy Admiration Society.

Oh, but I did!!! I accepted you for a dunce after your first few posts. At least we agree on that.
So I see that you can't accept yourself for what you are. Then again you would no doubt be terrified if you were to do that. It's probably a good thing that you didn't because your Mom would have to let you sleep in her bed because of all the nightmares you would be having.

I'm not sure what you think adding a ton more freight to a system that can't handle what they have now is going to result in.
There will be issues for sure. There will be many contractors out of business. There will be many buildings understaffed. It’ll take at least a year or two to smooth it out network wide.
Operationally, for me at least, my routes are going to be so tight accommodating most customer requests should be simple. Service will improve.
The more UPS embraces Amazon the more customers that directly compete with Amazon will switch to us.

It's pretty ignorant to think UPS is resting on their laurels with Amazon. They've been around for 100+ years and clearly has the more efficient system to deal with the e-commerce boom that is driving the industry now.

If you believe that you need to find another job. If Ground goes down the whole Corp goes down. WAGN
Drivers are basically stupid and replaceable.
Maybe you need to find another line of work if this is how you really feel. Too bad your employees can't read this but regardless of what you think they most likely have you figured out by now. Nonetheless, if what you're saying is "the future of Ground" maybe the ship has already hit the iceberg.

Besides, paying employees with peanut shells and bottle caps is only gonna' work for so long.

We'll see how that all works out when most same day deliveries aren't conveniently right there in the neighborhood.
