Been with UPS for 13 years. I'm getting married next month. Was just curious how long it takes for her health insurance to kick in.

Well, that's great to know, but what I mean is: while the paperwork takes weeks to process, coverage starts the date of the wedding. My wife and I actually eloped and had a JP wed us months early, so she could go to the doc.

Coverage will start on the 1st day of the month following the wedding.

I would guess the date of when the JP performed the ceremony?
Sounds as if you are already Married, and doing the ceremony in March for Family and Friends to attend?

She has to apply to it. Send her marriage license in to insurance and it starts in the first of the month
