Lying To Employees

Yikes.
Glad I wasn't around for whatever happened in here this afternoon.

Anyways.... The picture of the youth who received a double mastectomy is from the Instagram account of a "doctor" who provides "gender affirming care".

If it suits you, you can report her account to Instagram's parent company, Meta.

The butcher, erm "doctor", is also very popular on TikTok. Her account is "@gendersurgeon". You can report her through their platform as well.

I think it's important we put what is happening out into the public discourse, so that people can make informed decisions when they see media headlines about politicians "attacking" transgender youth by trying to ban these surgeries.

Pornography by definition is intended to stimulate erotic erotic feelings.

If that’s what that picture stirred up in you, seek help.

I’m absolutely not banning @DriveInDriveOut for that post.
May I suggest that one of two solutions be considered.
1. The license be sold to a new operator who can use it for whatever purpose serves their own best interests.
2. This site can only be accessed by means of a paid subscription. If the viewer values this site they can pay to continue to
experience it. Now that the days of "free shipping" are coming to an end, the days of free access to this site should end as well.

You can suggest whatever you want.

Don’t really understand what you mean by 1, and 2 is a nonstarter. This site is a free resource to UPSers and other shipping employees.

I really don’t understand why you would suggest either of these things, but sure. Noted.

And coming from an inactive FedEx contractor, it smacks of vapidity.

You hijacking threads and using them for trolling for stupid political BS.
It's not possible for me to "hijack" this thread and make it political, because the very first post was political:
3. Create political turmoil by involving your local Democratic leaders ( don't bother with The Republicans)
You will also notice, someone was crying about Trump before the thread got to the second page.

My first post was on page 5, so obviously I'm not the one who made this thread political.

You're just upset to see opinions that differ from your own.

I’m sure you’ve been booted off many other (political) forums and you have nowhere else to go. What do you even know about FedEx anyway?

It should be obvious to all but the most Purple People what FedEx is doing, and that they are absolutely, positively lying about the company restructuring. This has all been carefully planned, and the "rollout' is a known commodity. While extreme lies are nothing new for Express management this new series is especially blatant. They KNOW what is happening now and what is going to happen in the future, as in which locations will close/be consolidated and/or otherwise altered in order to have Ground perform the vast majority of Express work. Yes, your job is probably going away in most cases.

Certain usual suspects have maintained that this is just an efficiency move rather than a wholesale change, and to say otherwise is nothing but a huge lie. "Express couriers are still delivering Express packages" is only true to the extent that some will still be doing FO or hauling cans. It's designed to placate employees into believing little has changed even though the entire business model has fundamentally been altered. Ground is the new Express. Believe it.

You can choose to patronize the fertilizer purveyors, OR you can do a bit of research into the financial news and aviation industry reports to see what's truly happening. Raj and his fellow high-end management types have fully revealed what they're doing to the financial world, but their stooges and shills are soft-peddling the truth to workers. Farmer Raj has taken the corn from the Express silo and combined it with the corn from the Ground silo and is going to tell all of those Express ranch hands that their services are no longer needed. Those less expensive workers at Ground will make Farmer Raj a lot more rupees because he'll still be charging the same old prices and surcharges. The Express corn silo is being torn down and scrapped. Almost all the corn will be in the new Ground silo. Fact.

It's there, in writing, all over the media, but "it isn't happening". Yeah, it IS happening, and even if your station isn't being eliminated today, it's in the cards. Do you think that an ethical upper manamagement team should let their "valued team members" know this in terms that they actually understand? Yes, they should, because a lot of employees are just plain ignorant, and Raj and Friends are taking full advantage.

Yes, they absolutely will lie directly to your face and then drop you like a hot rock at first opportunity. Don't trust anything they say and make them pay for what they're doing. The only ways to do that are 1. Leave, 2. Walk-out/Sick-out. 3. Create political turmoil by involving your local Democratic leaders ( don't bother with The Republicans), or 4. Poison the well with customers and anyone else that will listen. Inform them about Fred's RLA protection and that FedEx paid no taxes in 2022. Educate them to the facts that FedEx is both screwing workers and the shipper. Tell them that their package will probably be late, that they're being charged premium rates for sub-standard Ground service, and that the company has zero commitment to them. Profit is the only motive.

Unfortunately, most of you will take it lying down and then whine about it after the fact. Worse, many with Stockholm Syndrome will sympathize and agree that it's just a "business innovation". If you're lucky maybe they'll give you a big foam P1 Cowboy Hat as a parting gift. Some of you will actually wear it. With pride.

So sad. So pathetic. So true.
We were actually told this, not in group setting, but with just a few people just talking. The Ideal is to, one day, have all drivers independent. Some stations will be hella easy to do and those will be the first to fall. Other stations in huge major cities will take more time. For those stations, the manager said, It could be as soon as 2 years or somewhere in the 5 to 7 year range. But it will happen. By 2030 There will only be Non employee employees delivering freight for fedx. Most of the Guys waiting to retire are just waiting for the day the station closes and reopens as a non employee employees station. I remember way, way back, years ago when Mr FEDex said ground will be taking express freight and delivering it. Some people said, impossible. It won't and can "Legally" happen. Well, here we are. Doubt him now at your own ignorance.

FedEx is going to do this sooner they made the commitment there is no going back the faster they do it the more they save. Companies love this owner operator model no benefits limited liability, pressure on contractors to find a employees to work for less and carry the cost of a delivery vehicle that will be worthless in 4 years. Only question can we find enough hopeful suckers.
