Virginia parents blast school board over graphic books, critical race theory: 'Pretty despicable'
Loudoun County, Virginia parents Elizabeth Perrin and Joe Mobley on “Fox & Friends First” blasted a graphic book that was being taught to children at their school.www.foxnews.com
It’s starting to look as if the momentum is picking up against CRT. Parents are angry and speaking up….Black AND White are tired of the nonsense and division.

All "Young Adult" books should be banned. No value at all, just invented in the late-20th century as a consumer product. Throw it all in the trash where it belongs.1:10 lol
Sounds like typical trash for adults.
This book won awards for school kids...
like wtf?

YA makes kids dumb and libs intolerable. Get rid of it. Cultural and intellectual poison.Take a deep breath drama queen.

These school boards promoting this are in place all over the country. Even in places like Oklahoma. It's pretty hard to not believe there has been a behind the scenes effort to get these people elected and in control of these boards then suddenly they're all promoting the same thing to indoctrinate kids. This isn't something that just slowly built up over decades with some school boards looking at what is being taught elsewhere and thinking it might be a good idea to try. This is what is insidious about the "progressive" movement in this country. Trying to brainwash kids from elementary school to college so that when the time comes there will be enough adults who think socialism is a wonderful thing that it'll get voted in. Hopefully the boneheaded moves of the administration will jolt enough of them back into reality.![]()

Lol I was a big Ayn Rand fan in high school, I had forgotten about that. I didn't even realize that one of my other favorites at the time (and still) also had a "rape can turn out ok" scene in it (Vonnegut's "Welcome to the Monkey House"). Authors are just pervs in general I think, Rand definitely was IRL. Actually there were a couple other grade school books that had "big dick" lines like in the video: Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse Five" and Irving's (garbage book) "A Prayer for Owen Meany" come to mindLmfao.
I read the fountain head when I was in school. My teacher asked me to leave out the whole raping women ends up great and romantic from my book report.
IMO, this has been the only good thing to come out of kids being home and doing online learning. Parents have been able to overhear what their children are being taught. Fortunately, this is a wealthy county with a lot of stay at home moms who are able to fight back. These school boards promoting this are in place all over the country. Even in places like Oklahoma. Exactly, what in pissed about is them wasting money on these garbage books while taking actual good books off the shelves. These people deserve to be fired.Lol I was a big Ayn Rand fan in high school, I had forgotten about that. But Rand and Vonnegut at least are essential and important authors, and have something to say with their work. This YA stuff isn't in the same category, it's just dreck authors pump out for the $$$, which is what's offensive to me, not the "explicit content."
I tend to shy away from discussing child sexuality, it’s an awkward conversation I don’t think other people enjoy. I’ve kind of given a brief overview of why I think homosexuality could be naturally occurring by going into my own childhood and puberty when discussing that topic. But there wasn’t any great detail given to it, it’s all pretty graphic and uncomfortable to discuss.Sounds like one of @El Correcto's cool stories.![]()
