I expect very little from Trump. If he needs congressional approval why are you claiming he's delivering on his promises? If he can't get his cabinet through congress why would you expect his more controversial plans to get through?

Presidential campaigns would be interesting if candidates only talked about what they could do through executive orders.
The vast majority of all campaigns revolve around what you want to get done with Congress.

Thus why most campaign promises always go unfulfilled. And quite often what does get passed tend to be the opposite (at the least quite different) of what was first promised.
When a voter is strongly wedded to a politician, the honeymoon mode just never wears off, even when the politician is cheating in the marriage. And they all cheat!
