How would it have been passed down to us without the Bible? What issues that people have questions about could be addressed without scriptural guidance? Is the Good News of Christ dependent on the Bible?

They were Jesus's chosen to guide the Church in the beginning. As such they had authority and their writings were guided by the Holy Spirit. For you to say you can take or leave what they wrote means to me that you've elevated yourself to their level, not lowered them to yours. As such I believe you've developed a messianic complex.Yes.
Are you saying the Apostles were more than men?
In any manner they used prior to the established religion of the day assembled the writings to be deemed the Bible by religious tradition. How would it have been passed down to us without the Bible?
Any issue can be addressed without scriptural guidance. What issues that people have questions about could be addressed without scriptural guidance?
Does this make them more than men? They were Jesus's chosen to guide the Church in the beginning.

No elevating or lowering on my part. Do you say the apostles were more than men?For you to say you can take or leave what they wrote means to me that you've elevated yourself to their level, not lowered them to yours.
Yikes.As such I believe you've developed a messianic complex.
Can you point to a Christian body that didn't have access to Bibles but passed down the story of Jesus and the requirements for salvation through oral traditions since Christ's death and resurrection? In any manner they used prior to the established religion of the day assembled the writings to be deemed the Bible by religious tradition.
Means to spread the Good News other than written religious texts are still in use today. They always have been.
Any issue can be addressed without scriptural guidance.
I do find the Bible useful for religious and spiritual guidance at times.
It means that you can take their writings as God's inspired word. But not yours.Does this make them more than men?

Yes it does. They were the Apostles of Jesus whose writings were God's inspired word. As such they were much more than you and I will ever be. We must submit to God's will and part of that is following his inspired word. Again, can you name a group anywhere who have passed down the Story of Jesus generation to generation without benefit of the written word?Does this make them more than men?
I disagree. I believe Jesus chose men.Yes it does. They were the Apostles of Jesus whose writings were God's inspired word.
That may or may not be so.As such they were much more than you and I will ever be.
God’s will be done not mine.We must submit to God's will and part of that is following his inspired word.
It is my understanding that any group in the 1st couple of centuries AD give or a century or 2 would qualify.Again, can you name a group anywhere who have passed down the Story of Jesus generation to generation without benefit of the written word?
Really? No mass communications, no automobiles. And you said that people have always relayed the story of Christ without benefit of written traditions. OK, name the groups who have for 2000 years passed along orally the Story of Christ, not to mention decided issues, without benefit of the Bible? Seriously, would be interesting to find out more about all these people worldwide who have done such. Would be inspiring. It is my understanding that any group in the 1st couple of centuries AD give or a century or 2 would qualify.
?Really?
?No mass communications, no automobiles.

You are kidding, I hope.OK, name the groups who have for 2000 years passed along orally the Story of Christ, not to mention decided issues, without benefit of the Bible?
Some benefit from written religious traditions. Seems like you do. I do in part as well.Seriously, would be interesting to find out more about all these people worldwide who have done such.
I am frequently inspired hearing about individuals salvation stories. How God has changed and completely turned lives around through an encounter with the living Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.Would be inspiring.
