What gets me is he denies the scriptures as spiritual authority. They're just the writings and traditions of men, not inspired by God. But he himself and apparently anyone who agrees with him has a better understanding of what God wants than the Apostles because God speaks to him directly. Not to those chosen by Christ but to him. Total narcissism.
Correct he keeps asking me for “my” opinion I continue to direct him to the place he should be looking for those answers. I do not feel like I am going to judge another denominations, or persons heartfelt interpretation of scripture. It would be easier for them to just go along, so I’m going to assume they have conviction.

And he's still circling around direct answers with questions.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Only Jesus was a perfect man.
I agree with your statement, I, as you, believe those referred to in Bible as Apostles were not perfect
However the Holy Spirit spoke through the Apostles to us.
I too agree with you here.

I ,as you, believe the Holy Spirit spoke through the Apostles to us. Through Christ’s righteousness in them and through their imperfections. I believe the Holy Spirit teaches us through both.
When you read a verse that you personally disagree with you aren't disagreeing with the Apostles but rather with the Holy Spirit.
I believe when I read a verse that I personally disagree with I am not disagreeing with the Holy Spiritual but rather disagreeing with the imperfections of man that come through their writings.

I only do this when I hear prompting from God about about writings that don’t line up to the teachings of Jesus.

At this point he’s incapable of understanding because he chooses to follow his own “wisdom”.
I follow wisdom given me from God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Many people have doctrinal differences, but most of them are based off different interpretations of scriptures. His are literally based of nothing more than feelings, and the political and social movements of the day.
Untrue statement about me,
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever.
Agreed.
He is not worth my time on this subject.
Sorry you feel that way.

Correct he keeps asking me for “my” opinion I continue to direct him to the place he should be looking for those answers.
And you continue to not offer your opinion.

I instead you point me to where or what you base your opinion on, without rendering your opinion.
I do not feel like I am going to judge another denominations, or persons heartfelt interpretation of scripture.
You seem to.

But I agree with this statement.
It would be easier for them to just go along, so I’m going to assume they have conviction.
Not sure about the easier part but I definitely agree that the decision does IMO display sincere conviction.
