What about his feelings? What you'll notice is that none of these people actually have any biblical defense of women pastors. They'll twist some random verse and pretend it's about that, while ignoring the clear instruction that men are to lead.
How do you know what went on behind the scenes? They may have given them ample opportunity to follow SBC guidelines.I just can’t see where the spirit of compassion, love, and mercy is displayed in the decision. The SBC clearly chose to throw the stone of judgement that I don’t believe Jesus would.
Someone who is a SBC, and visits there, deserves a church that follows SBC teaching, if that is what they claim to be.I just cannot wrap my mind and spirit around the idea that this decision is a decision that is in line with Jesus teaching
I don't know, I do know it is in the Bible, and can't, in a good conscience, espouse something contrary.Would Jesus throw this stone of judgement and disfellowship them as the SBC? I just don’t believe in my spirit that he would.
I have to disagree.I do believe that they believe they are doing the right thing according to their understanding of written religious traditions.

I don’t.How do you know what went on behind the scenes?
That may be true but it doesn’t change that I disagree with the decision. They may have given them ample opportunity to follow SBC guidelines.
I will have to think about this statement more.Someone who is a SBC, and visits there, deserves a church that follows SBC teaching, if that is what they claim to be.
I can.I don't know, I do know it is in the Bible, and can't, in a good conscience, espouse something contrary.
So you agree with the SBC. I respect you answering and your difference of opinion regarding this.I have to disagree.
I agree. In the grand scheme of things, it is not a salvation issue, so people just has to live their lives in a way that they believe God wants them to live.
It is a wonder. How the hell has this subject carried on to almost a thousand replies?
Seems to be a strength of yours.Mostly mockery
