Personally. You need that to properly understand what the Bible says when you read it. That is one of the reasons the Holy Spirit is called the helper.

As has been stated and proven in scripture, the passages your article post was for the apostles and has been fulfilled.Example in the text would be Jesus assuring them that the Helper would bring into their remembrance all the words Jesus had spoken. I don’t need a Helper to do that. Jesus has never personally spoke a word to me.

So if he is not in someone personally, you are unable to properly understand what the Bible says?
When he tells you how to properly understand the Bible, how is that done?
