Stupid arguments about the Ground business model

Exactly. He’s a con artist demagogue who played on people’s fears and prejudices to get elected and doubled down on them once in power. The party’s refusal to repudiate him shows just how pathetic they've become.
Right, you're definitely a conservative.
What fears, and prejudices did he play on, support your statement, you are going to be a teacher. Enlighten everyone, even the choir you are singing to.

McCain and Romney were the 2 previous presidential candidates and they got annihilated, and Jeb! Bush was considered the favorite to win the 2016 nomination in a field filled with "I just can't wait to give in to every demand made by our friends across the aisle" candidates. As for his decimating the party, the party had a net gain of seats in the House (vs a prediction of a net loss) and lost 3 seats in the Senate (vs a predicted loss of 5).

Like him, don't like him, but he did more for the party than anyone else in the last 20 years.
Mitch McConnell would disagree with you, I do as well for different reasons than McConnell however.

In my view the party is democrat lite, Trump pushed the party more to the conservative side to McConnell's dismay. Trump is bringing a new breed, McConnell is a get along for his personal benefit type jackass.

My opinion, persuade my that I am wrong.

He lost the White House and both houses of congress within 4 years. A feat not achieved since Hoover.
You are incorrect.
The Senate stands at 50-50 unless you have a new, new math.
The actual party count affiliation is 50 republicans 48 democrats and 2 independents.
I understand, 2 independents my ass, they would never vote against a democrat position, they are after all "independent."

“I’m not racist because I have a black friend or two” is the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard.
Managed to miss this earlier. Do you honestly think those were my only black friends? I used to play basketball down at the black courts as a teenager. Have had black friends all my life. My biggest beef with any black person is when I meet one, like a cashier, who acts like he or she hates me for no other reason than I'm white. But back to your statement. It doesn't matter what I say, you'll find some way to tear it apart. You say you're a Christian but you seem full of hate. Always looking to attack. Always sneering and smearing.

WOW. So your defense against being a racist is that you aren’t because you played basketball with black people before and that your worst “beef” with them is when one has an attitude and you assume it’s because you’re white?? You should just stop responding because you keep building a stronger and stronger case for you being a racist the more you try to defend it.

Been a conservative Republican since I turned 18. What were you saying about ad hominem?
The party has changed, and apparently you don't want to change with it.
At this point in time the republicans have become nothing but a bunch of what aboutists. Was hoping that the former president would have announced that he was forming his own party so that he and his fellow trumpodytes could waddle off into the sunset.
Also been a republican since I registered to vote at 18. Just can't pull the lever for trump. Also hate what he has done to decimate the party.
If by "decimate the party" you mean marginalizing the career RINOs who have done nothing but mooch off the public while shipping our jobs overseas and letting far-left neo-marxists take over our schools, media, and national government then yes, he has decimated it. And good riddance to the Flakes, Romneys, McCains, Bushes, and other self-serving political trash that has sold this country out to the highest bidder.

If by "fellow Trumpodytes" you mean the 70 million Americans who voted for him (the most in history for a Republican) than having those votes "waddle off" would be about the stupidest thing you could wish for. Please do yourself a favor-just admit you love the status quo, vote for candidates on either side of the aisle that promote big government and either crony capitalism or crony socialism (basically the same thing) and leave the patriotic matters to the real conservatives.

100% correct. It is the party of Trump, and I want nothing to do with it.
If by "party of Trump" you mean the party of gun rights, religious liberty, an actual border, pro domestic manufacturing, pro-life, pro law and order, anti-left wing biased media and educational system, an America-centric foreign policy, and a pro small-business tax and regulatory agenda, then it's sad to hear you want nothing to do with it. But to each his own.

You’re locked in on Trump the personality, not what he espouses for the country.

Trump is a New York jerk (most are), and you can’t see past that. Grow up.
I want no part of what he espouses for the country. And I’m 30 years old, so I can decide for myself how I choose to vote, and I couldn’t care less how you feel about it.

Yeah, I guess I just had a hard time looking past him lying about the severity of the coronavirus while 525,000 Americans die, turning the military on people protesting black people being executed in the streets and then lying about a “stolen election” that led to an assault on congress. No biggie though. It’s just a “personality” thing, I guess.

Nope, you're just another liberal who sees racism everywhere. So much so that you use it as a weapon to cancel anyone who disagrees with your point of view about literally everything. Your kind is making civil discourse just about impossible these days but you thump yourself on the chest thinking you're always right and it's your right to rip into anyone who challenges whether you are. Frankly you haven't lived long enough to garner the experience necessary to realize there's always something to be learned from others. Nope, you just barrel through like a bull in a china shop smashing everything in the way of what you want. Bulls usually end up on someone's grill. Might want to think about that in your downtime between attacks.

Awful lot of protest.

Which is worse, a misleading overly optimistic assessment of covid, or a panic and total collapse of the economy?

Please define ‘people protesting’ so I can compare it to ‘people rioting, looting and destroying’.

If Trump believed the election was stolen, he wouldn’t be lying, unlike, say, Cuomo’s lying.

The world isn’t black and white, in spite of the efforts of BLM to prove otherwise.

Again, grow up. Logic checkmates emotions.

And you're just another pseudo conservative you echo's everything Fox News and Newsmax spews out while holding your hand out to collect from every "evil liberal" sponsored social program you can position yourself to qualify for. Oh, BTW The COVID package including another $1400 check is on it's way to Biden's desk BUT NOT ONE SINGLE REPUBLICAN VOTED FOR IT! Now are you going to stand with your party and send it back? Yes or No? Are you going to continue to just talk the talk without ever doing anything in the way of decisive action to demonstrate a genuine devotion to the ideology ?
