They always advocated for allowing individuals to carry guns any place, anywhere. anytime claiming that it was all about protection. How come their guns didn't protect them from the New York State AG ? After strutting around flashing their guns bragging about their Second Amendment rights we now find the NRA running off to Texas as fast as they can run just to get away from the law.

The NRA has always been about education, namely how to properly handle a firearm.
Most states that require some form of training to apply for a firearm permit accept classes that have an NRA approval.

NRA classes have been declared necessary by the same people who denounce the very thing that the NRA does.

The NRA has gone from being one of the nation's most respected organizations to one of it's most despised due to the fact that it has abandoned it's core objectives that being game management, marksmanship, safety, etc. It's focus has gone from the preservation of the nation to the weaponization of the nation.
Now LaPierre and his little gang finally got caught robbing from the till . The only preservation activities they were undertaking was preserving their lavish lifestyle .
