Tractor trailer? What?

Boxes come on these huge trucks us in the business like to call "tractor trailers." They're huge, man, you wouldn't believe how many boxes we can fit in those things. Anyways, your package was on one of these monstrosities and, for whatever reason, the trailer didn't complete it's run.

A new tractor trailer will be scheduled to pick up wherever the original left off, most likely.

If it were a next day air or something I'd try to get my shipping costs back if I were you.

It means that your name was drawn from a hat to screw over today. The tractor trailer is UPS code for that. What I would do is show up at local UPS dist center customer counter demanding my package , and money back from the clerk working there.

Tractor trailer? What?

It's a VERY large combination vehicle. The Tractor is the powered unit which pulls the Trailer and all of it's contents from Point A to point B. A trailer can vary in length from 28, 45, 48, or 53 feet long. The longer the trailer the more packages it can fit.

You're welcome. Thanks for using UPS
