You tools will go to almost any length to discredit Obama, won't you? If you had an actual brain, perhaps you'd realize that he's been perhaps the first President to actually try and be multi-cultural in terms of his approach to international policy and relations.

The days of "America, *uck, yeah!", are over. You need to figure that out, but you won't.

That is Glenn Beck BS. Both American and British marines wore them. It was to improve posture, but later taught that it protected their necks from a p[irate's cutlass. It is interesting to note that contemporary paintings from the Barbary Wars don't show the 'leathernecks'.

No effing way, Muslim lover! I find it fascinating that a Mormon cult member can fire-up the GED crowd so easily...and make millions doing it.

What's even worse is that scoundrel Jefferson actually hosted one of those muslim terrorists for a White House dinner on December 9, 1805 to discuss that very piracy you're talking about. Jefferson had the gall to move the dinner to after sundown to accommodate for Ramadan. Jefferson even owned a quran for christ's sake!

A quran owning muslim sympathizer who not only negotiated with terrorists, but invited them to the White House for dinner! Today's Republicans would be crapping their pants.

such angry postings here. Is it our fault Obama is an idiot. why must posters here be subjected to your pleas for a competent liberal president you can hang your hats on.

No. Union membership is down because of working people who are stupid enough to not realize being unionized is in their best interests. Every time I hear some dope like you criticize a Democrat and support GOP policies, I cringe.

you got to admit the Hoffa thinks an Obama fart is Mozart was pretty darn funny.

Jefferson was a Muslim too?

We already have an extremely competent President. Too bad that conservatives have tried so hard to block everything he's tried to do. Mitch McConnell should be tried for treason, because he hates America, just like the Far Right does. When you openly state you will undermine every single act of a President (as McConnell did) you have zero respect for both the presidency and our country. Party politics over what is best for our country.

Shameful.

You're right! That's why I'm paying over a third of my check in taxes! We can agree to disagree, but our next president won't be a democrat.

Its interesting that you mention party politics but yet employ them as an aspect of your reponses here.

so a 7 years later and no recovery economy is really what you think is a good job. Now I realize that you can point to a 5.1 employment rate and claim that Obama has done a good job. but will it stand the test of time. the labor participation rate is at an all time low. Obama has basically stopped counting the unemployed to be able to report a number that low. Even a Bernie Saunders has said the real number is closer to 10 percent. Do you guys ever really look at the numbers and not what the administration reports when digesting unemployment results. With labor participation numbers comparable to what Obama inherited the real unemployment number would be much higher.

Just in case you don't know the country generally goes through a recession every 7 to 8 years. When that happens the fed lowers interest rates to stimulate the economy into coming out of a recession. what happens if we go into another recession as history says we will with interest rates still at zero. the fed will have no options available to stimulate the economy. What was probably a 15 percent unemployment rate counting everyone at the worst part of the last recession will therefore realistically be a 20 percent unemployment rate So whatever schmuck is president then having no interest rate stimulus to rely on will then do what they do well print more money and create more stimulus packages and go much further in debt.

its a deadly cycle and partisan politics as you have displayed it will not help.

Do you really think the labor force participation rate has anything to do with Obama?

Besides co-owning this site, aren't you either a current and/or former UPS union employee, enjoying either a union retirement, or current pay and benefits? Why would you support a party (the GOP) that is pledged to the destruction of unions?

The current low-wage/high employment (on paper) scenario is more the function of Republican states and policies that use RTW and huge incentives to encourage big corporations to move to their state. Both South Carolina and Texas immediately come to mind.

Please renounce your Teamster benefits immediately so you aren't such a hypocrite.

Coming from some one who works in a non-union shop is funny .
Is it still true that if you jokingly mention the word "union " at work , you are quickly canned ?

Bizarre?

You realize the teamsters have supported GOP candidates in the past?

why would I renounce something that I have earned through my hard work. Do you normally engage in such hystronics or can I expect a calmer more reasoned response in the future?
