The long-anticipated watchdog report on the Russia investigation is finally here — though it might do little to settle the partisan debate around the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. - VOX News

FBI wiretap of Trump campaign aide was riddled with errors, but Russia probe was legally justified - USA Today
The Justice Department's internal watchdog found the controversial surveillance of a Trump campaign adviser was riddled with errors, raising questions about its justification.

The voluminous report, released Monday by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, identified 17 separate inaccuracies across three surveillance applications, effectively inflating the justification for monitoring former foreign policy adviser Carter Page starting in the fall of 2016.

Kind of torpedoes the Trump narrative, doesn't it?

Not really. Durham report is coming eventually, and he goes into much more than the DOJ and FBI.

Durham blisters Horowitz after IG report spares FBI brass in Trump probe origins
Sounds like Durham has found some criminal activities dismissed in IG Horowitt's investigation.

“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff,” Durham said. “However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S.”

Horowitz investigation was more limited in scope than Durhams. But it does sound like Horowitz tried to bend over backwards to protect certain (unnamed) guilty people.

Another in a long list of debunked conspiracy theories. I see Cruz is back on the Ukraine election interference conspiracy again. Too late Senator, the code date of that conspiracy theory expired a long time ago.

Anyone, like Comey, Andrew McCabe, Strzok and Page, no longer in the Justice department were not in scope of Horowitz's investigation and report.
You are apparently right as far as the initiation of the Trump investigation not being politically motivated.
Comey, Andrew McCabe, Strzok and Page will be within the scope of Durham ... glad I'm not any of them.
The FISA Court debacle is wide open and will certainly be pursued by Durham.
Too many media (left and right) reported that Ukraine was involved.
    Time will tell.

So the report confirms all the shady pro Hillary and anti Trump stuff the FBI did, but claims it wasn't politically motivated.
    Mkay lol.

The report says that the FBI was told in January 2017 by Steele's single subsource that the information given Steele wasn't ever intended to be put in a report and was totally uncorroborated. They still went forward with the dossier and got FISA warrants. Even if they weren't politically motivated at the start the moment they went forward even after knowledge the dossier wasn't verified it became a criminal conspiracy. A heck of a lot more is in the report, and Durham's report is coming. And Durham can make arrests. Y'all can spin it any way you like, but Durham isn't a political partisan. Possibly the most respected federal attorney in the country. What he cares about is rooting out corruption, and it's coming soon.

The report confirms Trump is a liar and that there is no Deep State plot, except in his deranged mind.
