We've got outside contracting, Amazon disruption, recession or volume rerouting. Those are the four I have come up with.

Shippers moved their volume due to the looming possibility of a strike since the initial contract was turned down by the members.

And UPS freight stopping pickups did not help. Some customers were really confused, not knowing it is actually a separate division from small package.

The problem with that theory is wherever it does go they will be blown out and unable to handle it, but if they do....UPS is done as we know it today.

They couldn't handle all, or even half, but if 10-15% was diverted "just in case," they could handle that.

And that 10-15% would definitely put UPS in panic mode because they did not foresee that. And UPS is in panic mode.

I see USPS out until 9 PM everyday, plus Saturday and Sunday.

Here they are not asking us,but if you want time they are giving it. Go home early? No problem. Talked to a buddy the other night from another building and he worked less than 40 hours last week in feeders and loved it.
