I won't what? Having both studied the Bible and having been instructed by others who've studied it much more extensively I know that the Old Law has been done away with. Please tell me what part of the New Law I disagree with? You're upset that I pointed out you think you know better what to believe over what Christ's chosen Apostles have instructed us. That's at best arrogance. At worst it's false teaching. Somewhere in there is a bit of narcissism. You can go round and round all you want but until you acknowledge the authority of God's will revealed in the New Testament you're disobedient.
That is your opinion.

I meant you will not answer the following question:

Do you believe the Holy Spirit wrote the Bible or inspired the writings that were written by the authors of the various manuscripts.?

I prefer the Lord's preference. Many don't.
Show me the "argumentative'' comment.
Disagreeing and using scripture to support what I believe it teaches is not arguing. Especially when no one offers scripture to counter, just a...IMO. That outta take care of it.
Do what you want. Whatever you decide that makes you happy, is what makes God happy. I'm sure that written down somewhere.
Congratulations you are the 1000 post to this pitiful thread.

I'm gonna go with Solomon.
"The end of the matter; after all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, and every secret thing, whether good or evil." Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14

Scriptures are countered, you just dismiss them, because they don't fit in your interpretation.

You haven't"dismissed" any of mine? lol Show me one comment of yours that addressed any scripture I put up.
1 Cor. 3:16 ( I think you put it up ) was answered.
Sure does.
Do you really not see "how" I have stated the Bible teaches the HS dwells in a Christian? Maybe read the comments slower and you will be able to ask better questions.
The Bible teaches that the HS dwells in a person by the word of God. By the knowledge or knowing what the word of God says which was written by the HS. This is the same way the Bible states Jesus dwells in you as well as God.
The Holy Spirit has never been"in" anyone literally or personally anymore than God or Jesus has. Yet, the Bible is very plain that they are "in " you. I have provided those passages. If you can't find them let me know.
Show me any that was put up by anyone that I "dismissed" and I'll be glad to answer it.

I won't answer it? The Holy Spirit directed the writing of the Scriptures. And in at least one instance I recall the Apostle Paul said he was giving his opinion on a subject, wasn't told to say that by the Holy Spirit.

Ok I think I get it.

Your answer is you do not believe the Holy Spirit wrote the Bible but inspired the writings that were written by the authors of the various manuscripts..

I agree with your position as well.

Don't dismiss...again
"if in fact the Spirit of God (Holy Sprit)dwells IN YOU. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is IN YOU, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness, if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells IN YOU, he who raised Christ Jesus d from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells IN YOU."- Rom. 8: 9-11
These verses say that Jesus is in you as well as the Holy Spirit is in you. Tell me how Jesus is "IN YOU." Why isn't he "IN YOU" like you say the HS is? Literal and personal.

"Do you not believe that I am IN the Father and the Father is IN me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells IN ME does his works. Believe me that I am IN the Father and the Father is IN me, or else believe on account of the works themselves. - John 14:10-11
How is Jesus IN God? How is God IN Jesus. Literal?

I'm gonna go with you "dismissing"the above like you and everyone else "dismissed" this...
Please explain how the spirit prompted you this morning.
Words, feelings, or something else?
You credit the spirit, so how was it done?
How do you discern between the prompting of the spirit and your conscience?

Did the Holy Spirit physically write the Bible? Is that what you're saying? He directed the writers and yes it's the inspired Word of God. If you're implying that we have the right to accept or reject parts of it you would definitely be wrong.

So you quote me a passage that says the HS is in you 3 times to prove to me that he isn't in you. Interesting. I can see now, why you think how you do.

Deflect. You that dense? You really don’t know what I believe the Bible teaches on how the HS dwells in a person? Do you not read any of the comments?
These have been quoted before. Answer the questions that are with the passages.

Just a reminder this thread started over @Integrity pointing out the sexist inequality of religious communities that do not allow females access to the role of pastor. Then a bunch of people being pretty rude and vile about “well they waved around the Bible so it is their right to be pricks”.

That’s what we have here is 50 pages of people saying you have a right to be a prick because it was written thousands of years ago you could be and integrity saying hey maybe that’s immoral to treat women as second class.

@Integrity also says hey maybe there’s a chance your King James book has been bastardized by humans that weren’t as great as Christ. Maybe a thousands of years playing a game of telephone censored and rewritten by man isn’t the best way to guide yourself towards being a moral human being. Maybe we should take the good and decide not to be pricks to other humans.
