Of course. I'm just trying to determine who is, according to you, passing along knowledge of Jesus without referring to the Bible at all?
Personally speaking, my family, primarily my Grandmother passed the knowledge of God the Father, through His Son Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit to me.
She did this through verbal communication of the stories of God, His Son and His saving of the world and lifestyle example.
I could just sense God in her and through
her.
I never once saw her reading a Bible, nor was reading the Bible or advance intellectual based Bible study part of our family’s religious tradition.
In 3rd Grade my love of reading drew me to the Bible and it immediately became my favorite book. Of all my entire family, my family is the first in our line to make regular Bible reading a part of our religious practice and tradition. It has proven to be a blessing, as well as being very useful in my religious practices, my spiritual life, and my personal relationship with God.
Gotta go, will try to answer more of your questions later.
Have a good day.
