Amuse me and tell me which part of the Bible I don't believe.I find it amusing that @Integrity doesn't believe in some parts of the Bible, and neither does @BrownFlush. Both just picking and choosing.

Thank you for these nice comments. This is probably best little description I’ve read from you.
That’s cause you ain’t a dogmatic prick. You are a free thinker that cares about morality.
Thankfully for you, me, and everyone else, the difference between Old Testament and New Testament is grace and mercy have been given to us through the shed blood. So you choose the NT of the Bible over the OT of the same Bible when you are picking what is worthy of emulating in the Bible in your own walk with God on this earth.
I understand, I think it is important to personally discern where religious traditions, written or not written are of God or where they are just displaying the imperfections and limited understanding of God of the individual authors. NT or OT.
Since your opinion is all that matters, answer the questions...
Please explain how the spirit prompted you this morning.
Words, feelings, or something else?
You credit the spirit, so how was it done?
How do you discern between the prompting of the spirit and your conscience?
So you don't believe the OT?NT, of course. I fall way short, however.

Agreed. I believe God showed his love for us when he did that.Thankfully for you, me, and everyone else, the difference between Old Testament and New Testament is grace and mercy have been given to us through the shed blood.

You play dumb as good as you twin.Amuse me and tell me which part of the Bible I don't believe.
Amuse me and tell me which part of the Bible I don't believe?
I don't believe parts of the Bible like you do would be a better way to say it.I find it amusing that @Integrity doesn't believe in some parts of the Bible, and neither does @BrownFlush. Both just picking and choosing.
I didn't say it didn't apply. I asked if you believed it?If you've read the NT, it clearly states that the old law no longer applies.
NT, of course. I fall way short, however.- upschuckGlad to amuse you but IMO you are right about both of us.
Do you believe everything in the Bible is worthy of emulating in your own walk with God while on this earth?
Believe, not follow. Never sacrificed an animal. You?So you don't believe the OT?
That was in response to @Integrity . You seem a little on edge today.I didn't say it didn't apply. I asked if you believed it?
Application wasn't in the comment. Belief was.
NT, of course. I fall way short, however.- upschuck
"For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope." - Romans 15:4
Seven Day Adventist wrong continuing to observe the Sabbath?Believe, not follow. Never sacrificed an animal. You?
Yes I know. That was in response to @Integrity . You seem a little on edge today.
So do I.NT, of course. I fall way short, however.
Response?I don't believe parts of the Bible like you do would be a better way to say it.
You, @Thebrownblob, @oldngray, @Integrity have decided that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is an actual, literal, personal indwelling.
My position is the Bible teaches the HS dwells in the Christian the same way God and Jesus does. It is by the influence/instrument of the word. There is no place in the Bible where the Holy Spirit was literally "in" someone. Plenty of places where His power was in someone because the HS gave them that power. That power allowed first century Christians to preform miracles . The reason was to confirm what they were teaching and preaching was from God. Remember, the New Testament was not written yet.
I have offered plenty of scripture that proves my position.
I have asked questions about your position that no one answers. You know why no one answers? Because it proves your position cannot be right.
Don't know enough about them to decide. A lot of churches have Saturday services. That is up to them. Who am I to say Sunday is fine, but Saturday is not.Seven Day Adventist wrong continuing to observe the Sabbath?
Not necessarily. Some interpret it differently. If you've read the NT, it clearly states that the old law no longer applies.
