What I don’t get is how these people are allowed to attack a “pillar of your identity”. I believe that was the term when I belittled someone for their religious beliefs the mod explained to me. Which you know that is a very fair point when enforced equally, one I’m fully willing and able to accept the consequences of laid out in the terms of service. Just so you know, I report most things that I believe are TOS violations and I haven’t felt the need to report any on this thread.

IMO he is communicating his opinions fairly and respectfully. He says some things that are challenging sometimes but look at me, who am I to talk. We all are imperfect. You also at times thing that are challenging sometimes, more often than not, but to each his own.

I think he is making a fine and fair contribution to this thread.

Are you familiar with prayer? And that written religious tradition you refer to is the writings of Jesus's chosen Apostles who were guided by the Holy Spirit. You denigrate their writings because you are lifted up with pride. You believe you can discern what is right and necessary and commanded without listening to them because they've written things you don't want to believe. You think you know Jesus without the benefit of the Bible and thus reject the recounted actions of Jesus in the Temple because you think you know better how Jesus would act. Everything is about you and your narcissism.
