Lots of people went to feeders and retired. Leaving a vacant RPCDs position. The company cannot reduce the number of RPCDs that we agreed on at the beginning of the contract.

I hope they eliminate that ridiculous position. Anyone that has even a rudimentary knowledge of unions knows that a two tier system like that causes nothing but dissent and resentment among members. It will harm and even destroy a union if left in place.

Must be a lot of turnover in that building, the only requirement is not to have more than 25% of drivers in a building that has 22.4's as 22.4's.

20% of total drivers can be 22.4s. 25% of the total number of RPCDs.

I have no problem working 10+ hours a day if need be. Don’t necessarily want to, but I know what I signed up for. But part of that was a full weekend. My time with my family on Saturday and Sunday is worth more than any 6th punch is going to pay.
