Twin Hill uniforms causing hives

When your bank says no, champion says YES
I wouldn't even donate my old pants to one of those clothing drop bins, the pants are even too cheap for a homeless guy, plus I wouldn't wanna see a homeless dudes balls floppin around

I've been on 5 mg of prednisone on a daily basis for almost 5 years now due to hives! I'm actually due to see my doctor today and I'm going to bring this up. Over the past 5 years my eyesight has really gotten worse due in part to the daily use of prednisone which I have to take due to the outbreak of hives. Sounds like it's time to start a class action lawsuit against UPS and the uniform supplier if this in fact true!

Kind of funny, I was diagnosed with Eczema in 2012 about a month after getting the new uniforms. How do I know? My wife keeps records on EVERYTHING! When I first told her about this Post she checked, almost 1 month to the day I received the uniforms I had my first Dr. visit. Been itching ever since!

We used to have riverside uniforms and they were good I think. I have seen more drivers with their tighty whites shining in a hole under the zipper! Is this the new badge of honor?

Thanks for sharing, WestChester and thanks for noticing how hard it was to put that story and pics of myself out there.

I absolutely do suggest that you go to the doctor. Ask to be referred to a specialist that can do a patch test that includes samples of the uniform. If you have any questions pm me.
Have you resolved the problem

You should get off prednisone. My Dad was on it for decades until a new doctor saw that and flipped out. It was really screwing him up and he was in the E.R. twice a week. He's had to slowly wean off it for two years. Prednisone isn't good for long term.
Get a doctors note for cotton uniforms and see if those help.

Agreed. My mom was on prednisone and gained about 100 pounds in water weight. It wasn't until she started having congestive heart failure that they put her on Lasix to get rid of the extra fluids. Quack doctor.

Yes weight gain is the worst and it seems to change you permanently.

I always look 10 years younger than I am.
Sympathize with all of those who are going through this. I have contact dermatitis with any clothing that contains nylon in it. I found out when I wore a coat that had an outer shell made of nylon. The nylon in the collar made contact with the skin on the back of my neck. I got a rash there. It felt like a mild sun burn. While I have had no problems wearing the uniform as a driver helper, but then again I am wearing it in the winter. I did check the uniform I have this year. The shirt and jacket are both Twin Hill and the pants are Riverside. Since I always wear the jacket, no one ever sees the UPS shirt underneath. I was thinking that perhaps I'll just wear my own short sleeved brown linen shirt instead underneath the jacket.

It turns out it's not the shirt but the jacket that I need to worry about. The jacket is a new one too. Anyway it is giving me a mild rash on the back of my neck. It's nothing like the rash I got from the nylon shelled coat though.
