Agree but we are gonna have to file labor charges over it. By the time it's settled in 3-4 years Hoffa will be walking out the door with ups company trucks parked around the corner to take his bags of gold with him.

If it were the final offer there would have been many news articles on that fact. the stock price would have took a nose dive. They didn't think this through. An act of desperation. This is stock price manipulation. An announcement of ratification has a clear effect on the stock price. SEC may like to hear of this.

If you read the constitution it says quite clearly that a vote can not be brought to the membership unless it is deemed a "final offer."

Everyone is getting it backwards. They don't deem it a final offer after the votes are tallied. It is deemed a final offer the second it is asked to be voted on.

This automatically envokes the 50/66 clause.

The IBT knew it. Seems like no one else caught it.
