Spoke to the leader of my local yesterday seeking classification about the vote and the IBT's decision to ignore it. Now...my local was one of the few to recommend a no vote so I was at least expecting some straight talk about what was taking place. Well my expectations were dashed because leader of my local spent more blaming part timers for not voting and avoiding the fact that the Teamsters Constitution makes it clear that the IBT had a choice. So in short it...it a racket the Teamsters have here. Ignore the vote then pretend to bad when people don't vote. Disorganized labor at it finest.
