Why would part timers stay in union?

And UPS, thinks they can fulfill the ranks of 22.4 positions from part-timers ?

Look at the pool of employees. Kind of slim pickings.

UPS isn't the only one touting that notion?

It's part of the "IBT hardsell" as well.

I think they both know it's not the case, with most 22.4's to be hired from off the street.

Either way it's a terrible concession to a company that should be receiving zero concessions this time around and is guaranteed to create dissent and division within the bargaining unit.

Hey Bug, it was the election to the previous one and the man said "we do not care about part timers" I was one on one with the man (KH) and that is exactly what he said. I still voted for him in the last election but not JH.
