Central didn't get 2/3s NO
I think he meant all but 1 crossed the needed threshold.
I was referencing Local 243. Looks like Local 926/Western PA also got the required NO votes for the voter count to not matter.
The only one that can be enforced.
Last time Hoffa shoved all the voted down supplementals up the voters' collective asses around April. Let's see when and why they invoke Article XII to modify the IBT Constitution this time.
They also got over a 50% turnout, so they only needed a majority no vote.
That is exactly what is going to happen...
I would have liked to see 243 get over that 50% total vote.
63% is still kind of a weak turn out for Western PA for such a bad TA but it's over 50%
243 can be imposed
is it perecentage of no votes or turnout to be imposed
It's one or the other.
2/3s NO vote
Over 50% turnout majority vote
243 had more then 2/3s vote NO
the other did not get a 50 percent turnout
the turnout was 38 percent, thats not a majority of voters
Over 2/3 voted no..
yes of the people who voted
thats why i thought tbe others ones passed because turnout was not 50 percent
Well you're wrong.
You need one or the other, if that helps.
