Trump failed to get mass testing to stop the spread of the virus. He failed to tell, the public early to social distance and stay out of large gatherings. Instead trump downplayed the virus for two months. He praised China’s handling of the virus repeatedly, And trump didn’t get change his public tone on the virus until about March 17th or so. Way too late.

Exactly. So his ban failed. There is no evidence it slowed it down. That’s because you people imagine the wrong people as being most likely to spread this virus in America. China is a gigantic nation, the rich Chinese that mostly travel to America weren’t ever going to measurable spread that virus here. The people who were always going to spread, the China travel ban didn’t touch. It failed. It had little to no impact.
Also the virus didn’t have to grow exponentially if trump had gotten Mass testing early, stressed social distancing lead on telling Americans to stop gathering in groups etc. He failed to do any of that stuff. We see what’s happening in South Korea so it wasn’t preordained it was going to get this bad. It’s this bad because trump failed.

Agree..This virus was on us from the get go...Probably back in early February....My wife was a public health nurse for the state and she quoted that this germ is not natural, the speed on contamination is abnormal...

Again South Korea had this same situation but their leaders handled it better than trump who failed. I have no idea about Italy. And neither do you. But do you understand how silly it is to say Italy’s growth was tourism but our growth is out pacing theirs. You all gotta deal with reality.
