They're mostly automatics now. But a few stick around. Hot as in the summer. Sit right on top of the engine. Reverse is top left, 1 bottom left. I always start in 2nd and go through 5.

I have too much stuff here to move. I could probably go back to a oilfield job, but there is no guarantee that it will last. That is what happened to my last job.
The oilfield went bust and they had massive lay-offs. I want to work for a company that I have job security and good benefits.

Well, the union's only giving up more concessions with each contract. By the time you'd make full time, new FTers might be getting a pretty raw deal.

If you were at my center you'd probably be looking at early 2021-22 for FT. Would be under whatever the next contract brings. Could be quicker if the August '18 contract sucks and nobody wants to drive anymore.

Some of the older trucks were strange. They could have almost any shift pattern. Most were 4 speeds with reverse right and down.

I am not a package car driver, but my golf cart is stored in a shipping container. I drive to the location where I load up my packages for delivery.

Cool, I'm assuming your container has a recharging unit for your delivery vehicle.

No. My cart is gas, not electric. I am not sure how they would do the electric carts. ???
