im talking about life expectancy you nihilist

Bring up the life expectancies by a factor of 0.5%, guess what, everyone still dies.

And the only people that could afford such therapies are the ultra-rich.

Just eat well and exercise, end of story.

Why in the world would you want to live forever?

And? Past is the past. We can't change it. And I'd put the flawed economic system we operate with up against communism any day.

It obviously works. The standard of living both Canada and the United States enjoy is proof positive. Even our poor don't do badly relative to much of the world.

Know what doesn't work? Trying to achieve equality of outcome before equality of opportunity. Believe it or not, where I live, we taxpayers fund two free years of community college for high school graduates. But it's totally their choice whether they want to take advantage of the opportunity or not. When they do, they often come out making a better living than someone with a 4 year degree. And they become productive, tax paying members of the community.

It's a much better way to go than screaming "capitalism sucks" and forming a daily bread line.

standard of living rose under slavery.

ill tell you what doesnt work: giving a few people all the power. its idiot economics. but thats what capitalism is all about: dumbing everyone down, and making a few people powerful and rich.

telling people to buy crap all the time to get their fix doesnt work. have you ever considered that your not supposed to always feel happy?

lying to people all the time for blood money doesnt work.

the american college system is teh most expensive in the world. as a poor person, id guess you have 1 chance to pick the right degree and achieve it. if you :censored2: it up, then can you really afford to go to college anymore?

Would communism improve upon the capitalist status quo?

How would that be accomplished?

He’s been told before, grab the reins of power, etc.

He doesn’t realize that people who think exactly like he does have more influence within the ‘system’ than those outside the ‘system’.

Sadly, he’s smarter than half the folks on BC, but they didn’t get fired from UPS.

And they bought houses, and have 401K’s, and will retire at age 55-60.

It’s gonna drop like a hammer when rickyb finally understands compound interest...
