Of course not. I've talked to one of our PDS guys and he told me the mess the *Orion* team left him would take him so many hours to fix the right way that if he started from when they left till he retires working 80 hours a week it still wouldn't be perfect.

I do know that the Orion team came in many years ago and ed up many of the routes. After two days of "fixing" routes, they simply walked out.

Since Orion, I’ve worked in 3 buildings. It still hasn’t worked in any of them. It’s not because of 1 lazy PDS.

We have had Orion for at least the past 2-3 years and while I don't follow it stop for stop I do run 85-90% trace and have never felt the need to switch back to RDO.

I rarely run ODO. And I don’t have an Orion trace counter.

So do I. But when I’m on a campus route, and Orion has me run off campus to run resis several times, deliver bulk stops in afternoon when I pick up, and finish businesses after 1800, I’m going to completely disregard Orion.

If the goal is to get drivers to buy into ORION...then fix the problems with ORION, leave RDO as a fallback default option for situations where it is needed, and let the drivers learn to trust the system and experience its benefits for themselves. If ORION truly is the better option, then why is it necessary to ram it down our throats by taking RDO away? This is just another typical UPS example of forced stupidity for the sake of generating a compliance metric.
