I turn 54 next week, I started when I was a month shy of 48. I'm just part time and work zero extra shifts, I'm here only for the insurance and what little bit of a partial pension I end up with. I am fortunate that I make good money as a self employed carpenter but no insurance, so ups fills that need for me. So to answer you're question yes you can start working at ups at 48 if you are used to work

I'm healthy, active, and would want to work until 67. I'm in the interview process now, and keeping an eye on the strike. Any comments?
I start in package car training Tuesday. But I’m only 47! I had 17 years experience at DHL though. Kinda in the same boat as you. Not sure about this.

Although you have delivery experience, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts after a few months in.

Word on the street is that the other companies regular workloads feel like a part time schedule at UPS.
