I can't believe this is the first time I've seen this.
Using an engineering degree (?) cad/cam software, 3d printer, and a friend with some
electronics experience.... that was impressive.
Fortunately when I was a kid, we didn't have that kind of technology.
We were no less creative. Made our own gun powder to blow up cinder blocks
using a Lionel train transformer as an ignition switch. Later, making flash power
for when my band played. (how can you play KISS songs without pyro ?)
Or, how about making "polish cannons" out of Campbell soup cans to shoot
flaming tennis balls, soaked in lighter fluid.
Those were the days....

Guy on one of the forums I use to be on would send a ham sandwich with parts. 3-5 days later and it could smell pretty bad lol
