They are entitled to believe what they want.

But yes, if anyone is attempting to silence women from having equal say and place in any institutional religion then in my opinion they would be victims of oppression.
Even if the women believe they should remain silent also? This is where you get into pushing your modern day mores on others. No, you aren't forcing them, you're just saying you're right and they're wrong. Difference is in your case it's your opinion. In their case they are following what was specifically said in scripture. Big difference.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
I also don’t pretend to understand everything in the Bible. I also don’t presume to think I know better than what’s in it. I just can’t believe what I don’t believe.

Can you believe what you don’t believe?
So you pick and choose accordingly.

Carry on. 🤣

Well, there’s a good chance you don’t understand it for one. And secondly of all the stories, miracles and wonders in the Bible, this is the one thing you can’t quiet wrap your head around? do you also choose not to believe Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendigo we’re not thrown in the fire? L O L seems like that would be harder to believe me if I was picking and choosing.

It my opinion that women should not be oppressed everywhere but especially in the institutional churches.

Even if the agree to their oppression.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I understand as the Holy Spirit reveals it.

One thing? Not sure what you are talking about.

Many different literary styles in the Bible, in my opinion not all literary styles are suitable for literal interpretation.

It's not oppression if they don't believe it is. You're trying to push your values on others. What about their values? To them it's the way things are supposed to be. I think the Amish take things to extremes. In their minds we are guilty of going past what is acceptable to God. They have rigid rules about everything. Men and women don't sit together in church. Women wear dresses. Buttons aren't allowed. While I personally think a lot of that isn't necessary they believe it is. Are they oppressed? They even allow young adults the choice to stay with it or leave. So who are we to tell them they are oppressed for having strict cultural rules?

If the “Holy Spirit” tells you something that’s not biblical it’s not the Holy Spirit is some other spirit.

And a concordance is a must for translating much of the Bible

IMO That would be placing the bible over God. I don’t believe as you believe regarding this.

Don’t really use our concordance much,
